Moving Stories in the Making: An Exhibition of Migration Narratives

Moving Stories in the Making: An Exhibition of Migration Narratives brings together the work of local and national artists who craft narratives of migration, and holds space for migrants and those affected by migration to tell their stories. This show was curated by Lisa Bulawsky, Tabea Linhard, Ila Sheren, Karla Aguilar Velasquez, and Jay Buchanan.

Exhibited at the Luminary in St. Louis, MO, the exhibition's identity demonstrates how these stories can shift entrenched attitudes toward immigration and how art can foster connections between migrants and the communities in which they become a part. This identity was designed to display moments of transitory motion through the abstraction of pathways and forged connections.
